about me

I hope you enjoy my portfolio. I'm inspired by landscapes, wildlife and the outdoors but I also do a wide range of work including event coverage, family and other portraits, sport, weddings and corporate/civic events. In addition I specialise in coffee photography which you can see in the gallery pages and also at www.coffeeshots.org.uk  I also make short films for multi-media use, and work UK and worldwide with a particular passion for Scandinavia.

For me the great thing about photography is the endless variety and the way it combines technology with art no matter what the subject. My photography has evolved via a career in design and biodiversity mainly in the Midlands but I'm originally from Yorkshire.

I'll be keeping the website updated with new projects and images to extend the galleries so look out for news and new additions on my twitter account @cd1mages (click the blue button to link). The galleries will autoscroll but if you want a closer look just click on any picture and it will expand in higher definition and with a look through option with the arrows.

Also look out for a new online shop soon so you'll be able to order any of my images on canvas  direct from the website, but meantime just get in touch to order.
